This project highlights our relevant experience in providing system design, implementation and support of a Wide Area Network (WAN) for the Resource Management College.
Technik provided the following services:
- Served as a network technician for the design, implementation, and support of the Information Resource Management College Wide Area Network (WAN).
- Network Infrastructure – Installed, configured, operated, maintained, and upgraded all network switches, routers, bridges, and firewalls. Installed, operated, repaired, maintained, and upgraded all fiber optic lines, hard wired cabling, and wireless links.
- Network Security – Installed, configured, operated, maintained, and upgraded all network security software and hardware to maintain the Network Accreditation and complied with all relevant DoD and DISA security policies to include:
- Firewalls (perimeter and individual workstation)
- Antivirus and antispam filters (servers, gateways, firewalls, and workstations)
- DoD PKI infrastructure
- Internet surfing control (ie: Websense)
- VPN and Wireless device encryption
- VMWare Virtual Servers
- Proactive network monitoring (ie: daily analysis of event logs, monitoring server and network performance, and responding to automated alerts from Orion/Solarwinds)
Overall Performance: Excellent
Delivery: Technik adhered to all deadlines and produced deliverables in a timely manner.
Cost Control: Technik performed within cost and budget.
