Jr. Financial Analyst & Security Support

Summary
The mission of the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) is to accelerate technology development and transition into superior defense capabilities through the strategic application of high-performance computing, networking, and computational expertise The contractor will work in conjunction with leadership in supporting two areas within the DoD HPCMPO.  First, Financial analyst support for the User Productivity Enhancement, Technology Transfer and Training (PETTT) Program PETTT which is intended to improve the usability of HPC resources, extend their use into new domains and address new problems. Second, Security, where the position is responsible for proving administrative and operational support

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate as team member of PETT providing financial support and analysis for that area of responsibility and report financial health to the Associate Director for Business Operations
  • Reviews and performs analysis on HPC financial report provided by the government to determine financial performance of area of responsibility, seek out discrepancies and determine justifications for existing ULOs outside of current execution benchmarks as defined by the OSD
  • Supports funding requests for HPCMP and Buy-In funds based on in-depth analysis that directs rate of execution
  • Prepare and monitor funding requests and contract invoices throughout the funding lifecycle.
  • Support all financial and budgetary analysis and create reports required for the program for all budgeted functional areas
  • Attend weekly Program & ERDC Management finance meetings
  • Answer data calls from the Associate Director for Business Operations

Security

  • Coordinate meetings with ISSM Chair, send out meeting invites, record meeting minutes and action items, up-load approved documents to the ISSM SharePoint
  • Act as secondary to Senior Security Analyst to include provisioning CAC’s for building access, daily opening/closing of Secure Room, monitoring of alarm phone and monitoring building camera’s
  • Support vetting and approving of visitors to ensure clearance level prior to building access

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Mission oriented, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Drive and desire to learn and grow their technical and functional skill sets
  • Normal working schedule is Monday through Friday (business hours), but must be able to work a flexible schedule, as needed, to support the customer
