Technik wins Acquisition Support Services contract at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

Technik has been awarded a firm fixed price single indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Air Force 772 ESS/PK squadron to provide acquisition support, contract close-out, office operations and administrative support services. The place of performance is Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

The 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (772 ESS) provides enterprise-wide acquisition support to the Air Force Civil Engineer’s mission to provide, operate, maintain, and protect sustainable installations as weapon-system platforms through engineering and emergency response services. The 772 ESS delivers world class construction and environmental projects, worldwide contingency mission support services, natural disaster support, expertise, specialized services, and privatization of utility systems. The 772 ESS, located in San Antonio, Texas is part of the AF Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. 772 ESS has four flights operating in San Antonio, and one flight at Tyndall, FL.

Technik contract close-out personnel track Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit status, coordinate with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and verify final project acceptance by the U.S. Government. They draft DD Form 1594 closeout documents, de-obligate modifications in the Government contract writing system (ConAward) and develop other documents deemed necessary for contract closeout. They utilize Mechanization of Contract Administration System (MOCAS), Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS), Electronic Data Access (EDA), and Air Force contract program writing systems to verify completion of contracts.

Our skilled administrative and office operations staff perform office automation duties utilizing the Invoicing-Receipt-Acceptance-Property system (iRAPT), Electronic Data Access (EDA) and myInvoice applications contained within the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) e-Business Suite. They assist in reviewing, researching and drafting responses for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and protest actions against the agency. They also transform data/metrics to graphic forms and prepare recurring reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
