Technik, Inc. is currently searching for a talented Security Engineer. The client’s project will be developed following agile practices, user-centered design best practices, and research principles that focus on addressing prioritized needs of key user groups within the agency and externally. It will also allow for future integration with additional components. The project is envisioned as a cloud-based platform that leverages a micro-service architecture to manage a family of related web applications to harness data for decision making; improve efficiencies across the entire Program Cycle, saving staff time; and cohesively connect management information from strategy to results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages a team of business data analysts that use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and methods of improving operations.
  • Implements and oversees the analytical approaches and methodologies.
  • Presents insight and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning.
  • Controls and develops internal/external information sources for business analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field

Technik selected to enhance SharePoint as an Enterprise IT Shared Service for the US Census Bureau

Technik has been awarded a task order under the U.S. Census Bureau Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) BPA to promote the Census Bureau’s Enterprise IT Shared Service offering by leveraging SharePoint as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and business process automation. The place of performance is at the US Census Bureau Suitland Federal Center in Suitland, MD.

Technik’ s SharePoint Development effort includes, building workflow systems, creating/migrating/consolidating legacy IT systems into SharePoint .Net framework applications using MVC framework, and integrating SharePoint with other enterprise-class IT systems in use at Census. These efforts will allow Census to continue leveraging its investment in SharePoint, including Office 365, so that the Bureau can quickly build new systems in an approved, baselined environment with a focus on migrating existing services to the Office 365 Government Compute Cloud (Office 365).

Specific Tasks include:

  • Migration of on-premises hosted SharePoint 2010/2013 systems and content to SharePoint 2016/Office365 cloud.
  • Develop custom workflow driven ASP.NET SharePoint applications
  • Expansion of Census Central functionality including support for localization, personalization, user classification, and internal line of business systems integration.
  • Implementation of enhancements to the Enterprise SharePoint systems and tools.
  • Implementation of an enterprise-scale document management systems and migration of existing document repositories into SharePoint.
  • Implementation of the Census’ Improving Operational Efficiency and the Continuous Suggestion Box sites.
  • AngularJS development in SharePoint.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to SharePoint development and maintenance.
  • Develop SharePoint workflows using Nintex and SharePoint Designer and  SharePoint forms development using Microsoft InfoPath / SharePoint Designer

Technik wins Acquisition Support Services contract at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

Technik has been awarded a firm fixed price single indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Air Force 772 ESS/PK squadron to provide acquisition support, contract close-out, office operations and administrative support services. The place of performance is Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

The 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (772 ESS) provides enterprise-wide acquisition support to the Air Force Civil Engineer’s mission to provide, operate, maintain, and protect sustainable installations as weapon-system platforms through engineering and emergency response services. The 772 ESS delivers world class construction and environmental projects, worldwide contingency mission support services, natural disaster support, expertise, specialized services, and privatization of utility systems. The 772 ESS, located in San Antonio, Texas is part of the AF Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. 772 ESS has four flights operating in San Antonio, and one flight at Tyndall, FL.

Technik contract close-out personnel track Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit status, coordinate with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and verify final project acceptance by the U.S. Government. They draft DD Form 1594 closeout documents, de-obligate modifications in the Government contract writing system (ConAward) and develop other documents deemed necessary for contract closeout. They utilize Mechanization of Contract Administration System (MOCAS), Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS), Electronic Data Access (EDA), and Air Force contract program writing systems to verify completion of contracts.

Our skilled administrative and office operations staff perform office automation duties utilizing the Invoicing-Receipt-Acceptance-Property system (iRAPT), Electronic Data Access (EDA) and myInvoice applications contained within the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) e-Business Suite. They assist in reviewing, researching and drafting responses for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and protest actions against the agency. They also transform data/metrics to graphic forms and prepare recurring reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.

Herndon, Va. – Technik, Inc. has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Product Development (PD) Office, Product Support (PS) Division, Admin 1 program.

Technik will provide application support to the Admin 1 team to include:

  • Help desk support for administrative and management applications of VistA and Enterprise applications within the OIT, PD, and PS.

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Exercises Option Year 4
